Membership in Trønderlag of America is open to anyone with an interest in the history and culture of the Trøndelag region of Norway, especially descendants of Trønder emigrants. We currently have hundreds of members across the U.S., Canada, Norway, and beyond!.
Trønderlag of America Membership
Dues include a spouse/partner at no additional charge, our newsletter, and research assistance. New members receive a welcome letter and all newsletters published so far that year. Members joining fairly late in a year are given the rest of the year free. All memberships are effective from January 1 through December 31 each year.
APPLYING LATER IN THE YEAR? Don't worry about it - we're very forgiving and just make your expiration December 31 of the next year, or the year appropriate for your membership selection. We're just glad you are joining Trønderlag of America! - WELCOME!

After 17 years of serving Trønderlag of America as Membership Chairman, Treasurer and Webmaster, Jon Satrum is stepping down from those responsibilities. We ask that you DO NOT send any new memberships or renewals until we announce Jon’s replacement.
MEMBERS: Until one of our members volunteers to do the Treasurer/Membership role, do not send any membership renewals by mail or PayPal after December 15, 2025, until we publish new contact information.
